Always growing

I am a firm advocate of life-long learning. In the twists and turns of life the opportunity to learn more about what a museum needed to fulfill educational needs came, and I became an Art Teacher while earning my Masters in Education, Teaching and Curriculum. The internet made working in a remote area while attending the University of Montana, Missoula possible. I found new ways of teaching, learning, communicating, time-management, classroom management - and achieved these skills in levels I had not possessed before. My final year of teaching I developed the curriculum and taught K-12 Art, Biology, and Earth Sciences. I found ways to improve the Educational Outreach Programs I had developed in previous workplaces, especially in knowing how to meet the schools needed state standards, write lesson plans, and set behavioral expectations. I certainly learned more than I thought possible in the process, and am ready to find the next part of my learning adventure.
